Got a question? We're here to help!

  • What time is check in and check out?

Check in time is from 4.30 pm and check out is 10am

  • Are pets allowed?

Yes, our lodges are dog friendly, except Worcestershire and Cumbria. We charge £40 for one pooch, and £30 for the second, with a maximum of 2 dogs. We have a fantastic field where dogs can run wild, and our decks all have gates so your four-legged friend is safely enclosed at your lodge. We provide dog litter bins around the site and do ask that you always scoop the poop.

  • What facilities are on site?

You can enjoy a fish pond with an attractive water feature, a children’s play area including swings, slide, basketball net, and a net for playing badminton and tennis (racquets, balls and shuttlecocks provided free of charge), a lovely woodland walk, and a large grassed area for exercising dogs.

  • How many people do the lodges sleep?

All lodges sleep six people, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a sofabed in the lounge.

  • Can I use the hot tubs at any time?

Yes, all the lodges have hot tubs and we just ask you to please respect other guests and keep the volume down after 11pm. You can use the hot tubs all year round, and we ensure we test the PH levels every morning, and empty and refill them between bookings so they are always clean and fresh for incoming guests.

  • Do I need to bring towels or bed linen?

No! we provide all towels, bed linen, tea towels and toilet roll :)

  • Is there a washing machine and dishwasher?

All lodges have a dishwasher but we don’t provide any washing machines. However, every lodge has a washing line if you wish to hang out some handwashing.

  • How far are the nearest shops and pubs?

In Scorton, a five-minute drive away, there is a village store, Post Office, and an off licence, as well as two popular pubs. Richmond is eight miles away with a Co-op and a range of other shops and eateries. Northallerton is also eight miles away, and it has a Sainsbury’s and a Tesco, as well as some not-to-be-missed local shops. Barker’s Department Store, Betty’s Tea Rooms, and Lewis and Cooper grocers are a must. All large supermarkets deliver to the site. Further away, Campbell’s of Leyburn has a magnificent range of food and wines.

  • Do you provide cots and high chairs?

Yes, both are available free of charge – just ask if you need one.
