Where is Kiplin Country Park?
Kiplin Country Park is located in North Yorkshire, between Richmond and Northallerton. Our peaceful countryside setting makes us the perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and many charming market towns, whilst still enjoying a relaxing escape surrounded by nature.
Can I book a holiday at Kiplin Country Park?
Yes! We have a selection of luxury holiday lodges available for short breaks and longer stays throughout the year.
Each lodge has been designed to help you relax, with spacious interiors, private outdoor space and a hot tub.
Are hot tubs included?
Yes. Every holiday lodge at Kiplin Country Park includes its own private hot tub, allowing you to unwind while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Is Kiplin Country Park dog friendly?
Yes, many of our holiday lodges welcome dogs, making it easy to bring your four-legged friend along. There are plenty of walks to enjoy both around the park and throughout the surrounding countryside.
Please check individual lodge information when booking for any specific pet policies.
Is there anything to do on the park?
Absolutely. Kiplin is designed for guests who want to slow down and enjoy nature. During your stay you can enjoy:
- Scenic woodland walks
- Abundant wildlife
- Complimentary guest e-bikes (subject to availability)
- Private hot tubs
- Peaceful open spaces perfect for relaxing
We’re also excited to be introducing a wellness area featuring a sauna, cold plunge and rainforest shower in the near future.
Are the e-bikes free to use?
Yes. Our electric bikes are complimentary for guests and holiday home owners. They’re available on a first come, first served basis and are a fantastic way to explore the local area.
Is the wellness area open?
Our wellness area is coming soon.
Once complete, it will include a traditional sauna, cold plunge pool and rainforest shower, creating the perfect place to relax after a walk or cycle ride. Follow our social media or sign up to our newsletter for updates on the opening date.
Is there a walking route around the park?
Yes. Guests can enjoy a circular woodland walk around the park, where you may spot deer, birds and other local wildlife. Kiplin is also perfectly positioned close to the famous Coast to Coast walking route.
What is there to do nearby?
There’s plenty to discover within a short drive, including:
- Richmond Castle
- Kiplin Hall & Gardens
- Northallerton and Bettys Tea Room
- Yorkshire Dales National Park
- Ellerton Lakes for paddleboarding
- Historic market towns, cafés and country pubs
Can I buy a holiday lodge at Kiplin Country Park?
Yes. We offer a range of luxury holiday lodges for sale, including both brand-new and pre-owned models.

Can I let my holiday home?
Please speak to our team about the options available. We’ll be happy to explain the holiday letting opportunities and any park policies that apply.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available within our holiday lodges, allowing you to stay connected during your stay if needed.
Is parking available?
Yes. Each holiday lodge has convenient parking nearby, making arrival and unloading simple.
What time is check in and check out?
Check in is from 4pm, check out is before 10am
Is there EV charging at Kiplin?
We don’t currently have EV charging at Kiplin but the closest ones are listed below. Please check with each station for up to date charging information.

Osprey Charging Station – Finkills Way, Northallerton DL7 8UB
Is there a restaurant or shop on site?
We don’t have a restaurant or shop on site but our reception team are happy to share their recommendations. There is also a fantastic cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, cakes and more at Kiplin Hall, just a 5 minute walk from the park.
